HGA group is looking for an qualified and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. The Assistant Project Manager position offers you scope, collaboration, autonomy, challenges, and a place at the front line on major projects. This is a full-time position working from Monday to Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Assist with the management and coordination of internal resources and third parties’ consultants / suppliers for the execution of projects.
- Assist with developing project scopes, planning, and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure implementation and delivery are sound and achievable.
- Create, maintain, and monitor comprehensive project documentation using company systems / software and industry standard techniques.
- Track and monitor project success;
About you
To be considered, you will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- 1+ years of relevant experience working in construction or property development industry;
- Property Development or construction related degree or diploma;
- Demonstrated project co-ordination skills and experience with sound knowledge of governance frameworks, artefacts and processes;
- Ability to work effectively under limited supervision and manage competing priorities and timeframes;
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict management skills;
- High level problem solving and research skills to produce workable solutions;
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
- Be self-motivated and capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team;
- Experience using Project Server, Microsoft Project and/or equivalent tools;
- Mandarin or Cantonese Speaking preferred but not essential.

The Role: BIM Designer

About the Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, HGA group is now seeking an experienced BIM Designer to join our team in Sydney. It involves detailed design development, project planning and coordination with project team.
This is a full-time position working from Monday to Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Understanding project requirements, helping to develop/review project BIM execution plans. Ensure any changes in procedure and standards are effectively incorporated on projects;
- Managing BIM project data sets, regularly reviewing BIM models to ensure compliance with Project standards and requirements;
- Direct Collaboration with the engineering design teams to ensure design intent in the development of discipline BIM models. Develop logically organized, easy to read accurate construction drawings from the discipline models;
- Setting up and running change management, code compliance and interference checking procedures. Proactively communicating design coordination issues to the design team and helping to implement their resolution.
- Providing technical support and mentoring as required to the project team;
- Active involvement in the project delivery review process, reviewing drawings and generating reports to help review project discipline deliverables to ensure the overall design fits together and satisfies each discipline’s delivery stage requirements;
- Managing all incoming and outgoing project models and drawing information and maintaining an accurate copy of all deliverable content.
About you
To be considered, you will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- 2 years of experience working in the building design, construction or property development industry;
- Engineering/Architectural Technology related degree or diploma;
- Proficiency in a recognized BIM authoring platform – Revit, Tekla, OpenRoads/Rail or similar production tools;
- Proficiency in a recognized CAD authoring platform – AutoCAD, Microstation or similar;
- Proficiency in a recognized Modelling authoring platform – Rhino, Solidworks or similar;
- Proficiency in a recognized Coordination authoring platforms or tools – Navisworks, Solibri, Revizto or similar;
- Familiarity with programming or visual scripting such as Python, Grasshopper, Dynamo would be ideal;
- Ability to manage your time effectively;
- Be self-motivated and capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills;
- Mandarin or Cantonese Speaking preferred but not essential.
