Burwood North Metro Station

Sydney Metro West will deliver a new direct, 24 kilometers underground rail connection between the CBDs of Parramatta and Sydney.

The locations of proposed metro stations have now been confirmed at 

Westmead, 

Parramatta, 

Sydney Olympic Park, 

North Strathfield, 

Concord/Burwood North, 

Five Dock 

The Bays

Pymont

and Hunter Street in Sydney CBD.

Burwood North metro station will service the suburbs of Burwood and Concord. It will be a fully underground station. It is designed to specifically reduce pressure on the existing T1 Western Line. The station will be located at the intersection of Burwood and Parramatta Roads and it is scheduled to open with the rest of the line by 2030.
